• Obtained MBBS degree from Chittagong Medical College under Chittagong University in 1989
• Completed Masters of Philosophy (M.Phil) in Radiotherapy from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) in 1998
• Received fellowship training in Radiation Oncology from Chulalongkorn Hospital, Bangkok, Thailand, Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, India, National University Hospital, Seoul, South Korea and National Cancer Centre, Singapore
• Worked in National Institute of Cancer Research & Hospital as Assistant Professor in the department of Radiation Oncology from 2003 to 2009
• Joined at United Hospital as Consultant in the department of Radiation Oncology in 2010
• Pioneer in radiotherapy endeavors of the country under his leadership have been carried out in United Hospital Cancer Care Centre like providing radiation to patients as young as 4 years and as old as 94 years, specialization in Respiratory Gated Cardiac Sparing Radiation to breast cancer patients, DIBH (deep inspiration breath holding) based SBRT to lung, liver, SRT/ SRS to Brain tumour patient etc
